Yasin Sebastian Qureshi – managing board
Mr Qureshi, the founder of Varengold, has been engaged in the development of quantitative trading systems for over 16 years, experience which he applies to manager due diligence. His key competencies include assessment, categorisation and portfolio allocation for individual CTA strategies.
Steffen Fix – managing board
Mr Fix is also a founding member of Varengold; his specialisms are in the field of macro research into global financial markets. Mr Fix similarly draws on many years of professional experience.
Lukas Diehl – Senior Vice President
Mr Diehl contributes his detailed understanding of complex trading models and quantitative analyses to committee work, experience gained through various trading licences (Eurex & Xetra). Mr Diehl applies his practical knowledge of trading both to trading strategy implementation and realisation and to manager due diligence and risk management at Varengold.
The supporting team
The portfolio management team which support the investment committee includes 8 investment professionals and combines over 100 years of experience in the asset management, trading and risk management.
